1. ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN & VICE CHAIRMAN
Cllr J Brunt temporarily appointed chairman to oversee the following elections:
Cllr B McCarron was elected as Chairman for the forthcoming year - unanimous decision.
Cllr A Day was elected Vice Chair for the forthcoming year – unanimous decision.
2. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
1. Annual Governance Statement 2025/26 - approved.
2. Accounting Statement 2025/26 - approved.
3. Exemption Certificate 2025/26 - approved.
4. Appointments of Internal Auditor – Anita Parsons for year 2026/27 was approved.
5. Standing Orders – approved.
6. Financial Regulation - approved.
7. Grant Policy – approved.
8. IT Policy – approved.
9. Grittleton Parish Council Risk Assessment - approved.
10. Meeting dates 21st July, 15th September, 17th November, 19th January, 16th March & 18th May.

Minutes of meeting on 17th March 2026 approved & signed by Cllr A Day
7. REGISTER OF ACTIONS
Water elevator Alderton Road – has been removed and is currently being restored.
Bus Shelter – no progress
Roads – Clerk to follow up with Cllr J Atkey re email to Cabinet member.
Parish steward is returning to village duties and will be tasked by Cllr J Brunt.
Emergency Plan – Flyer to be updated, clerk’s personal phone number shouldn’t be included, cost and place of storage of suggested equipment to be discussed at July meeting.
Parish Plan – The Street metro count has been requested.

PL/2026/01952 – Sevington Lodge Sevington – New Garage – No Objection
PL/2026/02110 & PL/2026/02316 (LBC) Rose Cottage Sevington – New Access – No Objection Subject to the approval of the Highway Authority, should the existing kerb stones not be suitable for reuse suitable heritage stones should be used in line with the neighbouring property.
PL/2026/02450 – 8 Foscote Cottages – Tree work in conservation area – No Objection

The following appeals have been determined by the Planning Inspector
APP/Y3940/C/24/3346151 & APP/Y3940/C/24/3346148 - ENF/2022/00944 - Land north of M4 Littleton Drew – (PL/2023/00249) Appeal against Enforcement Notices. Appeal dismissed, enforcement dates modified.
Clerk to follow up with U Cllr J Atkey regarding letter sent to Wiltshire Council.
APP/Y3940/C/25/3359639 & APP/Y3940/C/25/3359666 – ENF/2022/00075 – Combe Barn Foscote property owner continues to work with the enforcement officer.

Accounts circulated – bank reconciliation signed.
Clerk to register Parish Council with Information Commissioners Office, annual fee £52.00 reduced to £47.00 for payment by annual direct debit - approved. Freedom of Information template circulated and approved.
Defibrillator at The Neeld, due to age support contract no longer available. Supplies are available for circa two years. Cllr L Palmer to check with the defib group that the defib is still registered with emergency services. Funding for a replacement to be determined at a future meeting.
10. HIGHWAYS, FOOTPATHS & RIGHTS OF WAY
Sevington parking area opposite the Victorian school, Cllr S Parker to investigate ownership.
