5. REGISTER OF ACTIONS
Cllrs A Day & B West signed their declaration of acceptance of office, having been co-opted at the May meeting in abstenia.
Water Elevator, Cllr Brunt to circulate quotation for repair & repaint once received, decision to be made via email to expedite decision, which will be minted at September meeting.
Bus Shelter, lessor has agreed to donate the bus shelter to the Parish Council, Cllr Brunt & Clerk to obtain quotes from lawyers to complete the transaction.

Leigh Delamere Solar Farm
Noted that Cllr B McCarron & S Skinner met with representative of Wiltshire Highways re works on Sevington Lane on 9th July. Contractors were scheduled to start work on entrance 14th July.
Clerk has requested a meeting with U Cllr A Foster (Portfolio Holder Planning) regarding the Non Material Amendment which was approved by Planning Officer in May 2025 regarding the pre commencement conditions and the effect determination of project commencement. Email response from U Cllr A Foster received post meeting on 15th July circulated to Councillors, issue to be investigated by Enforcement & Head of Planning.
Lime Down Solar Farm
Parish Councils response to the Targeted Consultation submitted, Clerk will post to website.
Clerk to request U Cllr J Atkey to establish whether Wiltshire Council submitted a response to the Targeted Consultation and if so to request a copy.
Cllr B McCarron continues to liaise with the Chairs of other Parish Councils in opposing the scheme.

Councillor Allowances, Wiltshire Council have recently approved a scheme to permit Parish Councils to pay an attendance allowance to Parish Councillors should the Parish Council wish to do so, Councillors agreed unanimously that they consider serving as a Parish Councillor as voluntary public service and no allowances would be paid during Councillors current term of office ending May 2029.
8. HIGHWAYS, FOOTPATHS & RIGHTS OF WAY
Wiltshire Police Road Safety Survey – Cllr S Parker to formulate response & circulate prior to submission.
Residents requested to ensure that overhanging or encroaching vegetation on footways is cut back.
9. PARISH COUNCIL PLAN
Councillors B McCarron & S Parker to draft a Parish wide consultation document ad circulate before the next meeting.
