Free trees for schools, communities, farmers and landowners

The Woodland Trust is now welcoming applications for free tree packs, ready for planting this coming winter. Packs are designed for different purposes such as hedges, year-round colour or urban locations. Landowners and farmers can apply for larger scale tree project packs including trial packs and woodland carbon schemes.

Support is provided about what to plant and where, and how to protect and look after the trees once planted. Further, the Grant Application and Planting Support team at Wiltshire Council is happy to help you with any queries or ideas you may have; we can be contacted via GAPS@wiltshire.gov.uk.

Please circulate this Woodland Trust offer to your residents and partners to see if even more communities in Wiltshire can take up this fantastic opportunity. It seems that the Woodland Trust didn’t receive many pack applications from within Wiltshire last year; hopefully this year we can increase the number of trees being planted.
